Wednesday, January 25th - Col. Kotur concludes his testimony.  During his re-examination, Kotur tries to prove that the 243rd was not in Racak and that the OCE/KVM was not a politically neutral group.   He also claims that there was no massacre in Meja.  Next, Professor Branko Kostic, who served as president of the Montenegrin state presidency in 1989 and 1990, as head of the Montenegrin delegation in the SFRY assembly, and as a member of the SFRY presidency, takes the stand.  He speaks of persecution of Montenegrins by Albanian nationalists in the 1980s.  He also discusses the outbreak of the war in 1991.  Milosevic shows a videotape from 1990 of  politicians discussing plans for the oncoming war. **A problem with the English language recorder has delayed this file.  It should be re-digitized and available next week.  Apologies for the inconvenience.**/ transcript

Tuesday, January 24th - 09:00 - 13:45  Col. Milan Kotur’s cross-examination continues.  Much time is spent discussing a closed-session testimony of Col. Ciaglinski in which he accused the Yugoslav army of having a plan to ethnically cleanse Kosovo.  Kotur would not reveal how he found out about this closed-session hearing, but asserted that Ciaglinski was lying.  Kotur also denies taking part in massacres in Meja and Korenica.  During a re-examination, Kotur explains that he was not in Racak during that alleged massacre/transcript

Monday, January 23rd - 09:00 - 13:45 Col. Milan Kotur, head of the Yugoslav Army team for cooperation with the OSCE Kosovo Verification Mission during 1998 and 1999, takes the stand.  Kotur testifies that the KVM mostly behaved professionally, but that there were some exceptions to this, particularly in its leadership.  He explains that the KVM had a great deal to do with the strengthening of the KLA.  Kotur also verifies that the event in Racak was armed conflict, not a massacre.  Cross-examination briefly began and will continue tomorrow./ transcript
