Monday, 04.08.2002 - The hearing took place in closed session for most of the day. The Chamber gave an oral ruling on the scope of the cross-examination. The Prosecution had submitted that cross-examination on the activities of the Kosovo Liberation Army ("KLA") and the NATO bombing should be permitted only to the extent that they are potential sources of legal defence.
