Monday, 06.24.2002 - 13:15 - 14:00 brief session in the Milosevic case today, which had to do with the K12 witness/contempt of court matter. It starts at 13:15, went into closed session after a couple of minutes and ends with Judge May summarizing that a new session to deal with the matter will be scheduled.

Wednesday, 06.12.2002 - trial in two (2) segments 09:30 - 16:00 the Prosecution resumed the examination of witness William Walker. The accused and an amicus curiae then cross-examined the witness and the Prosecution re-examined him./ transcript

Tuesday, 06.11.2002 - trial in three (3) segments 09:30 - 13:45 the accused cross-examined witness Sabri Popaj. Then an amicus curiae briefly cross-examined the witness and the Prosecution re-examined him. The Prosecution subsequently introduced the statement of Rule 92 bis witness Lutfi Ramadani from Krushë e Vogël who testified about the shelling of his village in 1999 and about residents of the village who were led away. The accused then cross-examined the witness. The Prosecution then called Rule 92 bis witness Mehmet Avdyli from Krushë e Vogël who testified about the killing of villagers in 1999. The accused then cross-examined the witness. The Prosecution subsequently examined witness William Walker, former head of the Kosovo Verification Mission during the Kosovo conflict. / transcript

Monday, 06.10.2002 - trial in four (4) segments 09:30 - 16:15.Prosecution examined protected witness K6 of the Yugoslav security service in Kosovo in 1998. The accused and one of the amici curiae then cross-examined the witness. The Prosecution finally re-examined the witness. The Trial Chamber then ruled on the admissibility of a minor's Rule 92 bis statement. It ruled that the evidence given in the statement was admissible given that it was cumulative in nature and within the requirements of Rule 92 bis. The accused did not wish to cross-examine the minor. The Trial Chamber excepted K13's statement under Rule 92 bis. The Prosecution then introduced the statement of Rule 92 bis witness Sabri Popaj, a truck driver from Bela Crkva in Kosovo. Popej testified about Serb forces taking up defensive positions in the village in 1999 and later about the killing of his brother and son/ transcript

One of the amici curiae also cross-examined the witness followed by the Prosecution's re-examination. The Prosecution introduced the statement of Rule 92 bis witness Isuf Zhuniqi, a farmer and bus company owner from Bela Crkva in Kosovo, who testified about the Serb attack on his village in 1999. Following the conclusion of the witness' testimony, the Prosecution introduced the statement of Rule 92 bis witness Nesret Shabani who testified about the attack on the Kosovo village of Ra~ak in January 1999. One of the amici curiae then cross-examined the witness. One of the Judges subsequently examined the witness. The Prosecution then examined witness Shukri Buja, a commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army ("KLA") who testified about the building of fortifications by the KLA in 1998. Tuesday, 06.04.2002 - trial in four (4) segments 09:00 - 13:45 the accused resumed the cross-examination of witness Fred Abrahams. An amicus curiae subsequently cross-examined the witness. The Prosecution then re-examined the witness. The Prosecution called witness K12 again. Witness K12 refused to answer questions. The Trial Chamber found the witness in contempt of the Tribunal pursuant to Rule 77 of the Rules of Procedure and Evidence. The Prosecution then called Rule 92 bis witness Agron Mehmeti from Racak who testified about Serb attacks on that village in 1998. The accused then cross-examined the witness. The Prosecution subsequently re-examined the witness. The Prosecution then called Rule 92 bis witness Xhemajl Beqiri, a farmer from Racak who testified about the Serb attack on the village in January 1999./ transcript

Monday, 06.03.2002 - trial in two (2) segments 09:00 - 13:45 Prosecution called protected witness K12 who refused to testify. The Trial Chamber adjourned his testimony to the following day. The Prosecution examined witness Fred Abrahams of Human Rights Watch which reported human-rights violations in Kosovo between 1990 and 2001.
