Wednesday, July 20 - 09:00 - 13:45  The cross-examination of General Bozidar Delic continues.  Much time is spent discussing the case of Bela Crkva, in which several Kosovo-Albanian men were reportedly executed in the forest.  Delic denies that this occurred.  Controversy on the validity of testimonies from Kosovo-Albanians is argued extensively.  Court concludes for three weeks of summer recess. / transcript

Tuesday, July 19 - 09:00 - 13:45  General Bozidar Delic’s cross-examination continues.  Most of the day is spent discussing Delic’s war diary and its inconsistency with witnesses’ claims.  The day ends with questioning about the burial of Kosovo-Albanian corpses in Batajnica, Serbia.  Delic denies that he is responsible for their reburial and suggests that they were transported from Kosovo after the war ended. / transcript

Monday, July 18 - 09:00 - 13:45  The cross-examination of Bozidar Delic continues.  Delic shows clips from Radio-Television Serbia during the war in which negative opinions of the KLA are portrayed.  The rest of the day is spent arguing over the validity of these records. / transcript

Monday, July 11 - 09:00 - 13:45 General Bozidar Delic’s cross-examination begins.  The prosecutor questions Delic about Srebrenica, where thousands of Serbs and Muslims died.  Delic denies theories of conspiracy and the presence of the “Joint Command” as a body that issued orders.  The cross-examination will continue on the twelfth of July. / transcript

Thursday, July 7 - 09:00 - 13:45 General Delic completes his examination-in-chief.  He denies discrimination in the Yugoslav army and insists that NATO and the KLA worked together during the war.  He also tries to prove that Paddy Ashdown committed perjury in his testimony in March 2002. / transcript

Wednesday, July 6 - 09:00 - 13:45 General Delic continues his testimony.  He spends most of the day explaining that NATO’s bombing was the reason that many left Kosovo, not ethnic cleansing.  He specifically recalls Xhevahire Syla’s April 14, 1999 testimony in which she claims that the Yugoslav airforce bombed a convoy of Albanian refugees, stating that NATO was really responsible for the bombing. / transcript

Tuesday, July 5 - 09:00 - 13:45 General Delic continues his testimony by discussing the activities of the Yugoslav Army.  He denies the killing of civilians in Jeskovo and mass-killing in Suva Reka.  He explains that combating terrorism was the primary purpose of the Yugoslav Army. / transcript
